Paper Awards and Journal Special Issue: FG 2021 will include awards for best paper, best student paper, and best poster papers. The best reviewed papers of FG 2021 will be invited for a special issue at the IEEE Transactions on Biometrics, Behavior and Identity Science.
Special Sessions: The three-day main conference will also include two or three Special Sessions to highlight research frontiers in the field of FG and the relevant opportunities in emerging thematic areas.
Workshops: The first day of the conference will include workshops in focused areas related to the broad field of FG. Considering the recent interest and requirements in the research community, two workshops that we have already identified are related to “DeepFakes” and “Face and Gesture for Public Health”.
Demo Sessions and Exhibition: Demo sessions will give researchers the opportunity to display, in an interactive setting, new methods and technologies, system prototypes, and experimental features of mature systems. An exhibition session will feature exhibits from industry to inform the research community of commercialization of research results in the field, initiate discussion about the state of the art in real-world applications, and cross-fertilize the knowledge and ideas about the future of research.
Social Program: The social activities a cultural program showcasing traditional dances of India along will a reception and a banquet.
