Bird-Collect, a novel benchmark dataset, addresses the limitations of existing AI-based wildlife monitoring by providing over 6,000 high-resolution images capturing the dynamics of densely populated bird flocks. The dataset, encompassing 46.2 GB of data, includes annotations for benchmarking computer vision tasks and signifies a notable advancement in bird research possibilities.The samples of the database can be viewed here.
